The u9 and u18 Boys WMFJ teams coached by Wade Schuemann and Travis Saylor both found early spring success at the April Spring Invite Tournament.  Both teams made it to the finals and finished Runner-Ups.

The u9 Boys won their (3) group games with a combined score of 16 goals for and only 1 goal against.  Wins came against Tecumseh (Canada), LASSO, and the CATS.  The boys lost in the final by a score of 1-4, but came home with their first tournament trophey as Runner-Up Champs!

The u18 boys won their group games over Fort Wayne Citadel, 2-0, and BASC, 3-0 respectively.  The semi-final match was against a tough SCOR team which the boys won 1-0 with the goal coming with 2 minutes let to play.  After a hard fought weekend of games with only one to two subs they the u18 boys held off a solid Metrostars team to a 0-0 tie forcing the two teams into a penalty shootout.  Unfortunately the boys lost in PKs 5-4 but the boys gave a gutty performance not to concede a goal all weekend!
