After a busy weekend of State Cup play, the WMFJ will be well represented at the State Cup 1/4 Finals in Saginaw on May 18th.
U15 Boys (Ben Honeycutt, pictured) coached by Ian McMahon, U17 Boys coached by Cliff Wegner and the U18 team coached by Peter Apostle all qualified unbeaten in their respective groups to make the knockout stage.
"It shows the strength of the Fire program, we are sending three teams to the State Cup playoffs, the most of any team in West Michigan. It is a great achievement, there are some great teams out there and it will be tough, but the teams will do their best" Ian McMahon - Technical Director.
