For the second year in a row, our u14 girls will be attending Super Y Nationals in Tampa, Florida.  However, this year they won’t be travelling alone, the u17 girls also were selected to attend the 2009 Nationals.

The u14 Girls, coached by Courtney Nash and Brock West, finished 1st in their Midwest bracket grabbing one of the two spots available in the Midwest division.  The bulk of the team competed last year in the u13 age group at National Finals and is excited about attending the tournament again in hopes of being crowned National Champs.

The u17 Girls were coached by Danny Price and nearly swept their Midwest division, losing only one game to the 1st place Fort Wayne Fever.  Even though it will be their first time attending the National tournament, the girls will no doubt pose a strong challenge for any teams they come up against.

Good luck to both teams!
